Dan DiNozzi, Director of Operations has been with Amnet since 2006.   Dan has an entrepreneurial spirit and a natural ability to quickly make leadership decisions under the various pressures of situations from preparation for a natural disaster threat to day to day operations of a data center. Dan has defined and implemented dozens of documented processes and procedures including working with outside auditors to earn Amnet the exclusive SSAE16 certification. He has set up a corporate operational infrastructure that serves as the foundation of today’s work flow efficiency and proactive emergency communications systems.

Our History

Since 1995, Amnet has been innovating to meet your technology needs. Our timeline tells our story. 

  • 1995 Amnet was founded as an infrastructure company to provide IT, networking telecommunication, audio/video installation and engineering services

  • 1997 Deployed numerous innovative solutions to protect data and telcom systems for year 2000 concerns

  • 2000 Built a colocation center (aka data center hosting) in Stamford, CT

  • 2001 Created Amnet colocation centers to deliver both hosted colocation and managed services

  • 2003   Instituted first generation remote IT delivery platform based on Citrix and Microsoft technology

  • 2007   Developed a high definition video conferencing and audio/video service offering to meet the rising demand of clients' needs to increase collaborations and efficiency amongst geographically dispersed teams

  • 2008   Built a multi-million dollar computing grid, which today has evolved to power the Unified Cloud 9 Platform to efficiently deliver upcoming state-of-the-art cloud services

  • 2009   Launched the innovative Webtop Application delivery service, which forged service provider level partnerships with VMware, Citrix, Microsoft and many others to deliver clients more cost effective per-user, per-month software purchasing alternatives

  • 2010   Added VoIP business telephone functionality to the myCloud Office offering

  • 2011   Powered by advanced technologies, like Microsoft Lync and Vidyo to deliver the next level of cloud based unified communications

  • 2012 Produced the Unified Cloud Desktop, the next generation webtop to include a fully personalized version cloud desktop that can fully integrate and simplify connections to other public cloud services like Salesforce.com, Microsoft 365, Amazon and many others

  • Alex Sulpizi

    Founder & CEO

    Alex Sulpizi founded Amnet in 1995 on a pursuit to build an innovative technology company that attracts the most talented individuals who, as a team, possess the expertise and drive to create unparalleled client centric solutions. The nucleus is Alex’s passion and expertise in the technology space combined with a deep understanding of business and product development. From early in his career, Alex has immersed himself in the design and engineering of everything from data center real estate, communications infrastructure, telecom, fiber optics to the front end application technologies that ultimately form the client facing solution. His experience, vision and commitment to R&D have brought many offerings to market well ahead of the competition. Alex has maintained a consistent design principle where all Amnet products offer each client measurable value through innovative performance and ease of use.

  • Milena Sulpizi

    Chief Operating Officer

    Milena Sulpizi, Chief Operating Officer has been with Amnet since inception in 1995. Milena’s ability to bridge the gap between people and technology related systems/processes have been the catalyst to many years of successful leadership. Prior to Amnet she worked in software development roles for IESC and Hyperion/Oracle.  Today she focuses her time on building the core team and optimizing processes and procedures that enable and encourage the performance of the team which remain the number one essential ingredients to support Amnet’s growth.  She has implemented operational procedures and organizational growth plans that are the pillars of supporting Amnet’s products and services.  Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity to enable each team member to work effectively together and succeed.

  • Mike Orgera

    Director - Cloud Services

    Mike Orgera, Director of Cloud Services has been with Amnet since 1997. Mike has held both implementation and management roles at Amnet making him an operational leader for the team. His inherent ability to assess risk and make solid decisions in a critical service level oriented environment has earned him the accomplishments of having built a team of talented IT professionals and solid divisional growth year after year. Focused on the cloud services division of Amnet, Mike oversees cloud and data center operations, client service levels, IT processes and procedures.

  • Stephen Conley

    Director- Audio Video Services

    Steve Conley, Director of Audio Video Services joined Amnet in 1999.  Steve has worked in implementation, project management and account management positions and possesses a deep knowledge of infrastructure, telecom and AV systems. Today, he is responsible for departmental oversight of all aspects of AV and Field operations including: design, sales engineering, product management, field installation and customer service teams. Steve is an exceptional mentor and has been able to instill both solid decision making abilities and a passion for excellence throughout the entire team.
